Help Wanted

You don't get a giant robot, but on the plus side, you don't have to wear a kilt either. A lot less chance of suffering an ammunition explosion too. Hey PI-Fans, While it's worth mentioning that some of us are prone to making 'Information is Ammunition' jokes, the Games @ PI crew is looking for to have capable, responsible  and self-motivated individuals to join our team. We're looking for retail staffers interested in joining us in both part-time and full-time capacity. Interested? Check out our staff roles and responsibilities and contact info@pi.com.sg with your resume.     – Kenneth, Games @ PI Manager

Holiday Rush

Hey PI-Fans, The Stockvalanche just hit and a wave of new titles has just swept away the staff in a deluge of cardboard and plastic. Did you just assume the Holiday was over? A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away… a new wave of ships for the Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures game roar into battle. Swarm of nimble TIE/fo Fighters flit around in duels with Resistance T-70 X-Wing and RZ-2 A-Wing space superiority fighters, while the forces of Scum & Villainy bolster their ranks with Mining Guild TIE-Fighters. Canny commanders looking to bolster their ranks can also look forward to X-Wing Resistance and First Order Conversion Kits, now available. Closer to home, on the battlefields of the 31st Century, giant humanoid mechanical war machines known as BattleMechs dominate the field of war. Two BattleTech boxes: the BattleTech – Beginner Box and BattleTech – A Game of Armored [...]

Dungeons & Dragons Charity Epic

Hey PI-Fans, In support of the  Make-A-Wish  Foundation Singapore, Games @ PI is teaming up with the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer's League Singapore community to go delving for a good cause. Deep in the Greypeak Mountains the fire giant warlord Baron Ugarak has enslaved hundreds of small folk to toil in his iron mines furiously extracting elementally infused ore for an as yet unknown purpose. Surrounded by a monstrous army and decidedly shady allies, the Baron poses a dire threat to the goodly folk of the north. Each ticket is $20, and includes a reroll, a drink, a catered meal (Halal) and a trinket to commemorate the occasion, and profits from this charity game will be donated to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore. Places are limited, so do register early to avoid disappointment. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ON THE D&D AL WARHORN

Want to add a new level of swank to your copy of Betrayal at House on the Hill? Snowed In

Hey PI-Fans, With Christmas just around the corner,  you’ll have to pardon us if we seem a bit more busy than usual. Of course, we’re going to keep doing what we do. So have at it.   In Tiny Epic Zombies, survivors are always on the run, collecting weapons, killing Zombies and working toward completing objectives. Completing 3 objectives can win you the game but if you’re too focused on the objectives, the Zombies will overrun the mall and that will be the end of you. Killing a Zombie is actually pretty easy… but they just keep coming. Keeping them from overrunning the entire mall, while trying to accomplish your objectives, that is hard!   Legend says if the Tower of London Ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it. In Tower of London, players fight for control of the tower using their influence [...]

It’s Beginning To Feel A Lot Like… I’ll Stop.

Hey PI-Fans, It’s us again, doing our usual thing – keeping a store full of cool stuff ready to go to good homes. Also, in the interest of staff sanity, we’re going to try to keep the Christmas Carols to a minimum this year. Not that we’re against them or anything, but after the 73rd round of Jingle Bells, the staff begin to go a little stir crazy. That becomes a problem. In the meantime, the new stuff keeps flowing.   Once again, rival schools have come to Onitama to see who has the dominant Art — but something is different this time: Their activity has attracted the attention of a wind spirit! This indomitable force will interfere with the students, but it may on occasion grant an unforeseen benefit as well! The Onitama: Way of the Wind expansion includes a wind spirit, a neutral game piece that creates a new layer [...]

For The Watch

Hey PI-Fans, Night gathers, and now your watch begins. Steadfast Lannister Halberdiers form unyielding hedges of polearms while nimble Stark Outriders nip at the flanks, yet all this pale in scope as a third faction storms onto the battlefields of the A Song of Ice & Fire Miniature Game. The Night's Watch has come. - RECORD SCRATCH -   Or... you know... we could just talk about the Singaporean Dream, a card game about paying, stealing and saboing your way to becoming the ultimate Singaporean. Why no? We don't judge.

Catchup.

Hey PI-Fans, I might have personally taken a short a sabbatical last week, but the gears of industry keep turning, and in the short time I was away, a flood of stuff came in. Here’s a catch-up list of what’s flooded in over the last week I was away. Board game wise, if horror is your jam, step back into the House on the Hill with Betrayal Legacy, and shape the development of the ill-fated building with an all new a campaign themed mode. Or take to the streets of mist shrouded Arkham to face off against the servitors of the Elder Gods in an all new edition of Arkham Horror. Then there’s World War II like you’ve never seen it before with Axis & Allies & Zombies. Feeling like stretching your legs? Consider Discover: Lands Unknown, a wilderness survival and exploration game with a unique game experience in each [...]
