New Year Gaming Party

Hey PI-Fans, Happy New Year and here's to a Great 2023. The Holiday period's always a cram period for Retail, but we've finally had a breather to reload the store with a pile of goodies. While the Christmas season might be over with the arrival of the New Year, we've got in a stack of new party friendly titles perfect for time with friends and family over the upcoming Lunar New Year gatherings with Level 20,  Soda Smugglers and Red Flags now gracing our shelves. On top of that, RPG fans are also catered to with this restock and we've reloaded our WizKids Preprimed Miniatures range as well as shelf load of Pathfinder 2nd Edition RPG books. A Shelf of Shiney

Pokemon Silver Tempest & Punto

Hey-PI-Fans, The Pokemon - Silver Tempest Elite Trainer Box and Pokemon - Silver Tempest Booster Packs are now in stock at Games @ PI. The last mainline release for Sword & Shield, Silver Tempest focuses on Radiant, VSTAR and VMAX mechanic for the set, with the Silver Tempest Elite Trainer Box and it's contents themed on Alolan Vulpix (and it's VSTAR). Traditional gamers shouldn't worry though. Along with the Pokemon comes Punto, a teeny tiny light strategy card game in a tin. Easy to learn, fast to play and eminently portable, Punto has players scrambling to pile cards over each other to achieve straight lines. Swords & Stationery and Games @ PI Collab: Roll Persuasion

Hey PI-Fans, Last Sunday, we ran the Roll Persuasion – How to be an Effective Communicator With Your Child workshop at Games @ PI with Swords & Stationery. Conducting the workshop was our speaker Shaun, from S&S, himself an accredited educator. Shaun gave a stirring lecture on the basis of communication and talked about why parent-child relationships broke down. An avid gamer himself, Shaun also had recommendations for many games he used in his classes as well as titles he himself was fond of. Shaun will be back this week for his second session, Young Minds, Steel Hearts where he discusses the challenges and techniques of running RPGs with a younger audience in mind.
