Victory at Sea – Final Preorders

Hey PI-Fans, With ‘Victory at Sea’, Warlord’s 1/1800 scale World War 2 Naval Combat Wargame shipping (no pun intended) in August, we’ve decided to reopen preorders for anyone who missed the first wave (again no pun intended) of orders. In addition to the Two-Player Starter Box which is launching alongside United States Navy, Royal Navy, Imperial Japanese Navy and Kriegsmarine boxes, Warlord has announced that several famous ships including the Yamato, Bismarck and Warspite will be available at launch. In addition, players can further bulk out their air-wings with additional strike aircraft and fighters. Check out the updated price list HERE. Two-Player Starter Boxes, Fleet Boxes and Battleships are expected to ship in August. Aircraft Flights will ship as part of a later release. Forbidden Island Review

Since the release of his modern classic Pandemic, Matt Leacock has developed something of a reputation as the guru of Cooperative board games. Forbidden Island is one of his stand-out release, a distillation of cooperative game mechanics into a simple single-box release that serves as an excellent introduction to the whole genre. As a speedy 2 to 4 player experience, Forbidden Island is an excellent take on the hand-management and board control elements of many other cooperative games and is a must-have addition to any budding board game collection. Gamewright games have always amused me.
