Beep Beep Beep…

Please assist our store reorganization by clearing anything breakable from the lockers and display cases by June 18th. Hey PI-Fans, We're going to be taking the opportunity to do some sprucing up of our store in the month of June, and while we're not going to be closed during this period, we're still going to have plenty of things moving around.* While we will do everything within our power to ensure the safety of items remaining in our store, some of us have unfortunately not passed our P-5000 Power Loader certification exams, and we cannot be entirely certain about the contents of the Legendary Encounters: Aliens deckbuilding game. To minimize risk to anything fragile currently in our store, we'd like to request that those customers who have miniatures or possessions stored in their lockers or within our display cases consider removing their breakables from our store for a few days from June 18th onwards. Thanks for your attention.. - [...]

PokéMonday: They’re not just Rare. They’re Secret Rares!

Today on PokéMonday, we'll be talking about Pokémon Trading Card Rarities! Bonus Points if you get the reference. I'm sure most of you know that Pokémon cards have their own rarity. Rarities are denoted by the the symbol at the bottom right of the card, along with the Set Number and Set Symbol. The commonly known symbols are usually the Circle, the Diamond & the Star. Used to represent Commons, Uncommons and Rares respectively. Let's take a look at a quick breakdown of the Cards. Common As per its classification, these are going to be the most common cards you're going to see. Almost all Basic and/or Unevolved Pokémon will fall within this category. Uncommon Uncommons are the next step up the Rarity ladder.  This is where most of the Stage 1 Evolved Pokémon reside, along with all the Trainers and Special Energy cards. Rare Now here comes the interesting cards, Rare Cards are [...]

PokéMonday: Once you pop, the fun don’t stop.

Today on PokéMonday. We're taking a look at Booster Packs. More specifically how to properly* open them for the most suspense. Let's start with opening the pack. So when you open your pack, you're going to get your 10 cards as well as a Pokémon Trading Card Game Online code card for a digital booster pack from the same set. Here are the Cards from a pack that was just opened. As you can see the last card in the stack is not a Rare Pokémon. This is because the Out-of-the-Pack card order is 5 Commons 1 Reverse foil (A BREAK Card if you're lucky) 1 Rare or Ultra Rare 3 Uncommons So in order to have the Rare be the last card. we are going to need to do some re-ordering. So to do that we're going to need to shift the last 3 cards when opening a pack. So the last 3 [...]
