Hey PI-Fans,

Exploding Kittens as a brand has taken off in a huge way and you might be familiar with the competitive Push-Your-Luck Last-Person-Standing party fest that are Exploding Kittens and it’s spin-offs. However, with a variety of party, dexterity and word games at their disposal, the Exploding Kittens company is about WAY more than Exploding Kittens.

If you just want the Exploding Kittens experience, it’s not just the little red box. There’s many different ways to get the game started, including the Classic, NSFW, 2-Player, Party Pack, Recipes for Disaster or even the standalone Exploding Minions Box. The Classic, NSFW and Recipes for Disaster boxes are the traditional way to play for two-to-five players, though you can boost the overall number of participants by smashing two sets together. The new 2-player edition is perfect for this, being balanced as a two-player version of Exploding Kittens, while also functioning as an expansion for the core game. On the other hand, players looking for a big-group version right out of the box can look to the Exploding Kittens Party Pack, which caters for two-to-ten players right out of the box.

If you’re looking for something to laugh at over your next party, you can also given Bears vs Babies, On A Scale of One to T-Rex, Happy Salmon, Poetry for Neanderthals, Poetry for Neanderthals NSFW or the new Mantis a spin. Alternatively, get yourself active with the dueling games Throw Throw Burrito and Throw Throw Avocado or work the catapult in A Game of Cat and Mouth. Those wanting a slightly more cerebral taken can look to Tacocat Spelled Backwards or the delightfully clever A Little Wordy. If you’re curious, you can check them out below.

These games and their expansions and more are available now at Games @ PI and on our webstore, so you can get to trying out more of Exploding Kittens’ offerings right away!

ON A SCALE OF ONE TO T-REX

It’s fun, and funny, and so irresistible that it will draw a crowd anywhere you play. Each player gets a stack of cards. Each card has a simple action on it that requires a partner to complete. Players frantically shout their actions looking for matching players. Once a match is found, the players perform the action and then discard their cards. The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins.
