Hey PI-Fans,

How’s the week going?

If it helps, we’re chugging along, doing our own thing and keeping the gaming going. This week, we have another stack of board games dropping in with the restocks with the passive-aggressively cooperative board game Decorum forces you to work together to decorate a domicile with repeated comments of ‘Hate it’ at your decoration choices. Paleo, likewise is a stone-age themed adventure game featuring a bunch of incredibly out-of-their-depth cavemen working together to stay alive and leave their mark on history before death claims them. The lighter side of things sees Horrible Couple, a hilarious follow up to the incredibly popular Horrible Therapist with a more relationship focused bent on things.

If you want to take some time and get some gaming in, we’re always eager to help.

 Play Games, Have Fun!

Return to the stone age in a new cooperative adventure! Paleo is a survival strategy game for 2–4 players, who form a tribe of people working together to explore their surroundings and undertake the ultimate paleolithic quest: completing a cave painting.

Each player begins the game with a couple of humans, each of whom have a skill and a number of life points. On your turn, you’ll send them out to explore. While you can guess what you might find there—food, crafting materials, extra help on your mission—you never know what dangers may await you out in the wild. Be careful not to collect too many skull tokens and lose the game before you can cement your legacy!

Décorum is a game of passive aggressive cohabitation. You and your partner share a home — and very different ideas about how to decorate it. Negotiate without saying too much, compromise without giving in, and try not to end up on the couch.

Your Home, Your Rules… Sort Of

Every couple has their battles. In Décorum, yours play out one throw pillow at a time. Communicate through actions, not words, and discover if your tastes are truly compatible.

You’ll compete to create a love story fit for a classic dark comedy.

In Horrible Couple, you’ll build purposefully ridiculous comics starting with a Question card, then a Response card, and topped off with a ludicrous Compromise card. Play as a couple or with friends, cooperatively or competitively. Nothing says date night like a little chaos!

With 2 – 8 players recommended you can invite other friends or couples to make their own horrible comics. Fast, easy, and endlessly replayable, Horrible Couple is the marquee comic strip like card game that can be enjoyed or gifted to anyone with a dark sense of humor.
