Hey PI-Fans,

A new shipment of Pokémon TCG products is now in-stock at Games @ PI and it’s the perfect time to begin your Pokémon journey like a ten-year old shoved out of the house to become the very-best-there-ever-was.

Taking a cue from the popular Pokémon GO ARRPG, three new Pokémon GO themed Pokémon TCG products and a new Trainer Kit are now on the Games @ PI Shelves.

Be sure to act fast. Each of the following three Pokémon GO products comes with a promotional Professor Willow themed Professor’s Research card as well as a Pokémon GO themed Pikachu. Each Professor’s Research comes printed with a unique redeemable code designed to be redeemed in the Pokémon GO app itself (Codes Expire 31 July 2023). **

First up are the Pokémon GO Leader Collection sets, each containing six Pokémon GO TCG booster packs, currently only available in the Pokémon GO Collection sets. Each of these sets is themed for a particular Pokémon GO team and the three different designs each contain a special Team Leader trainer card featuring Team Valor’s Candela, Team Mystic’s Blanche and Team Instinct’s Spark. Players can also show-off their team pride with a special Team Valor, Team Mystic or Team Instinct pin badge of the team’s logo that stylishly showcases the team’s signature legendary bird.

Next up is the Pokémon GO Alolan Exeggcutor V Collection featuring the lovably goofy Alolan Exeggcutor. This collection box contains four Pokémon GO TCG booster packs, currently only available in the Pokémon GO Collection sets and a set exclusive Pokémon GO themed Alolan Exeggcutor V promo version of the quirky coconut dragon. While we don’t personally recommend it, there’s also an oversized collector’s promo of the card as well, perfect for collecting, annoying Professors and potentially getting disqualified from tournaments.*

The last but not least of the Pokémon GO releases is the Pokémon GO Mewtwo Vs Melmetal Deck Set. An excellent way to start playing the Pokémon TCG. This package is playable right out of the box and comes ready for a two-player throw down with 2 ready to play themed decks featuring the ever popular Mewtwo V and Melmetal V and everything else you would need to play including dice, tokens and playmats.

While the Mewtwo vs Melmetal Deck set is an excellent way to start playing, players wishing to go further can load up with the Pokémon TCG Trainer Toolkit. Designed as the perfect entry point into building a deck for the card game, the Trainer Toolkit come with everything you need to turn a loose collection of cards into a playable deck. Containing a wide range of Trainer and Energy cards to round out a Pokémon collection and keep it fighting fit as well as four Booster packs from recent sets, card sleeves, damage counter dice, flippable coins and condition markers. Especially handy for new players is the deck builder’s guide, a introductory document designed to teach new trainers the ins and outs of building a Pokémon TCG deck.

Whether you’re a long time collector staying current or a new fan just starting out, there’s many hours of fun to be had with the Pokémon TCG.

Good luck PI-Fans! As the series itself likes to say, Gotta Catch ‘Em All.
May your pulls be lucky.

* The observant among you will have noted the code is not obscured. Good luck PI-Fans. Have at it. Fastest Fingers Wins.
** Please don’t. We know someone built a Jumbo sized deck and took it to the NA Internationals, but we really can’t say it ended well.
