Hey PI-Fans,

We’ve got a mix of new party games from the folks over at Exploding Kittens Games as well as a new title from Stonemaier Games! 

Two new party games arrive with Exploding Pigeon, a speed related pass-the-bomb game and What Were You Thinking?, a word based tic-tac-toe style game. Along with them is Stonemaier Games’ take on the Superhero genre with the trick taker Origin Story.

This weekend is also the launch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set for Magic the Gathering, so we expect to be busy!

Can you give the perfect clue before anyone else? What Were You Thinking? is a guessing game for horrible mind readers, and it’s as fun to watch as it is to play.

Break into two teams. Shuffle the Letter Tiles and place them on The Board until it’s full. Pick one person from each team to be the Guesser. It’s your team’s job to get your Guesser to say the word from the Word Card by giving them a two word clue that starts with letters from The Board. But hurry, because if the other team yells out a clue first, their Guesser can guess before yours. The team that flips 5 tiles in a row wins.

Origin Story is a 1-5 player competitive tableau-building, trick-taking game played over 5 rounds. Each round represents a chapter in your development and grants a new card to add to your player mat. Charge your cards and use their abilities to score more points than your opponents.

Exploding Pigeon is the rapid-fire challenge passing family game that’ll change your parties forever. Shake the Pigeon to reveal your hilarious challenge — it could be drawing, miming, or a quick round of rock, paper, scissors. Hurry and do it before passing the Pigeon to the other team!  Scramble to complete as many challenges as you can, just don’t get caught with the Pigeon when the timer runs out!
