Hey PI-Fans,

This week brings a heaping helping of random bits and bobs into the fray, from the art competition themed Canvas, to the Poland expansion for Ticket to Ride! We’ve also managed to secure a tiny stockpile of Betrayal at House on the Hill (3rd Edition), so if you’re in the mood for a horror movie heist, act fast to avoid disappointment (and maybe being devoured by the house).

Beyond that, it’s the usual stack of classic restocks with Citadels, Wingspan and Exploding Kittens being the standout titles. A stack of Tiny Epic title restocks has also come trucking in as well so if you need a teeny tiny board game experience to while away your time, you’re settled here.

From the Baltic Sea to the Tatra Mountains, Poland offers wide open vistas just waiting to be discovered. Take in the fresh sea breeze on the Gulf of Gdansk, or maybe you prefer the charming mountain trails around Zakopane! Ticket to Ride: Poland takes you on a unique journey into a rich past as you play the role of a railway magnate from the 1950s.

Gain a monopoly over Polish public transport by claiming routes between cities, but don’t overlook the importance of connecting neighboring countries with each other as well. The race is on; the sooner you facilitate those international connections, the higher the reward.

2-4 Players, 30-60 Min, Ages 8+, EXPANSION – Ticket to Ride

In Canvas, you play as a painter competing in an art competition. Players will collect art cards, layering 3 of them together to create their own unique Painting. Each card contains a piece of artwork as well as a set of icons used during scoring.

During gameplay, players will utilize Canvas’ unique clear plastic cards to overlay different art elements over each other. As the clear plastic cards stack, different icons on the cards will be revealed or cover each other up, forcing players to be selective about what elements they wish to score in the final competition submission

Once all players have made 3 paintings the game ends.
