We’ve just wrapped up the Dungeons & Dragons AL Open House over the weekend and we’re back to bringing you a smorgasbord of board games.
Leap into combat with Combat Ready, a RWBY board game simulating the frenetic combat of the popular web series as players run the titular huntresses in collaborative combat against a vairety of enemies pulled directly from Rooster Teeth’s ongoing franchise.
Also now available is the Dimensions expansion for Marvel Legendary, featuring the introduction of J Jonah Jameson and Squirrel Girl to the Legendary Card Game.
Next up is Virulence: An Infectious Card Game, an addictively quick and simple card game focused on viruses infecting a host cell – and how they assemble and replicate inside that host cell. Virulence has players take on the role of viruses competing to infect a host cell in order to replicate their own viral components, thus scoring points.

See you folks around.

Union and Disillusion is the fourth Mythos Pack in The Circle Undone cycle for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. Between two of the bridges that span the river, there stands the Unvisited Isle. As you explore the island, you will find braziers scattered at various locations, that you can either light or douse with the new Circle action ability. Lighting these braziers may help push back the heavy mist, allowing you to further explore the island, but it may also be the key step in completing the ritual that has already begun. How far can you push Arkham to the brink of chaos without surrendering the city to the dark forces battling for control of it?
Launch into an exciting universe of science fantasy adventure with the Starfinder Beginner Box! Containing everything you need to get started with science fiction role playing adventures, create and customize your own futuristic hero to play through challenging adventures and action-packed battles against dangerous foes! With streamlined rules, this deluxe boxed set is the ideal introduction to the Starfinder Roleplaying Game, an imaginative tabletop roleplaying game for 2-7 players.
In The Grizzled: Armistice Edition, players take on the role of soldiers facing the Trials and Hard Knocks of the first World War. They work cooperatively across a campaign where they confront the major events of the war. From the introduction scenario of Boot Camp, through the nine different Missions, everything that happens carries forward and affects the next steps of the game. Players will need to make good decisions and support each other if they hope to make it to the end of the war alive.
Untold: Adventures Await is the customizable storytelling game powered by Rory’s Story Cubes. Players become the heroes of a thrilling tale that unfolds in under 60 minutes. Think of Untold as your favorite TV series, except rather than just sitting back and watching, you’re right in the middle of the action! Every game of Untold is an episode of five distinct scenes, each featuring intriguing locales, dangerous threats and shocking plot twists that propel the action toward an epic showdown. Scene Cards and StoryCubes provide the elements of the adventure, while Reaction Cards reveal what happens when the players take action.

The D&D Weekend Sale Can’t go adventuring without your spellbooks can you?
We’re offering 10% off all Dungeons & Dragons branded products for participants in the event.
Perhaps you’ll pick up your first set of sourcebooks. Or maybe you’ve been eyeing some of our self-help literature to improve your DMing or even a philosophy book or two. Or maybe you’ll going to branch out with a D&D board game or two. Go nuts.
Miniature Buy & Paint A different kind of colour spray.
Purchase a WizKids Pre-Primed miniature or a Reaper Bones miniature and learn to paint at the event table using store provided paints. You’ll even get to try out the all-new Games Workshop contrast paint range, designed to make your first painting foray even easier.
An open house event like this is always a good reason as any to start your new D&D character, and what better way to celebrate this than with a new miniature?

Gain Inspiration in your D&D AL Game by posting a painted figure of your D&D Character on the Games @ PI Discord Channel at http://discord.gg/tvcWax5with the tag #PIALinspiration
Adventurers always stand out in a crowd. Since you’re going to, you might as well look good doing it.
Games @ PI is pleased to play host to our friends at the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League Singapore for another Dungeons & Dragons weekend on the 15th and 16th of June.
Whether you’re a seasoned hand at the adventuring business or a fresh faced rookie looking to break into the trade, the Dungeon Masters have you covered.
Designed for new characters, the Parnast Under Siege Mini Epic is designed from Level 1 to 4, perfect for new players getting their feet wet.
Day two, on the other hand sees players attempting to break into someone’s house, beat up the owner and steal all his stuff. Of course, if the owner of said house is Strahd von Zarovich, Vampire Lord of Barovia, then it’s probably just a bit less of a felony. Be prepared to break out your Level 5 to 10 characters for this one, and remember to pack your garlic for the Raid on Castle Ravenloft.
There will be two windows to get your games in each day, the first from 1 to 5 pm and the second from 6 to 10 pm. Don’t delay and swing by the D&D AL Warhorn Page to secure your slot.
We’ll be running special D&D related promotions during the event as well, so stay tuned for more details.
It’s a Monday. A new week’s kicking on. We’re just going to keep doing our thing and face the week with a smile.
Build a city, defend it and then watch it fall apart all around you in The Rise and Fall of Anvalor, a semi-cooperative board game set in the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar setting. Lead an army of order as the Pantheon of Order struggles to establish a city as the forces of destruction and chaos tear the city apart around you.
If you’re going for something less intense, try Wooly Wars, a tile laying game of sheep, wolves and hunters. Work to enclose your sheep in paddocks and watch out for wolves as you try to maximise the size of your secret flock.
Or call up the party game gang with Werewords, a deduction game of Yes/No question and hidden traitors. Figure out the magic word before time is up, and you win! However, one of the players is secretly a werewolf who is not only working against you, but also knows the magic word.
So pop on by the store and get your game on.

We’ve just gotten in a stack of the new Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures which release 23/5/19.
The Lannisters bolster the ranks with The Warrior’s Sons, while both they and their Stark rivals introduce another batch of heroes to shake up their respective playstyles. Meanwhile, Night Watch Conscripts go toe to toe with Free Folk Savages and Trappers.
Also available again are the Stark vs Lannister Two Player Starter as well as the Night Watch and Free People starter sets.
Though the series just ended, your time in Westeros is just beginning…
As always, the stock machine rumbles in with another wave of titles. And as always, this means new titles on our shelves.
This week, keep your eyes out for Who Should We Eat, a semi-cooperative survival themed card game of overly convenient cannibalism. Next up is Best Treehouse Ever, a resource management card draft about outdoing your friends and rivals and assembling the… well… Best Treehouse Ever.
Those looking for something more gritty can take to the mean streets of LA with the LA Crimes expansion for Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game.
And then there’s more Singaporean Dream. Yep. The smash hit Singaporean Dream is getting an expansion pack, and it’s now available at Games @ PI as well.
So. What are you waiting for?
Those dreams aren’t going to achieve themselves.
In the meantime, have a great week folks. We’ll see you on the flipside.

In Best Treehouse Ever, players compete to build their best treehouse, outfitting their treehouse with cool rooms, while also making sure that their tree doesn’t tip over and that their rooms are more impressive than all of their friends’ rooms at the end of the game. Building takes place over three weeks/rounds, and in each round, players use card drafting and spatial reasoning to add five new rooms to their treehouse. Players must pay attention to the other treehouses being built since they take turns determining which types of rooms score for everyone at the end of each round.
Who Should We Eat? is a semi-cooperative game of desert island survival and resorting to cannibalism way too quickly. You know that not all of you will make it off the island, which means that only the strong will survive, but deep down you also feel something supernatural about this place — that the veil between the spirit world and this mortal existence is paper thin, meaning that victims can strike back against their tormentors and harass them from the world beyond.
Detective: L.A. Crimes, the first campaign expansion for Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game, consists of three separate cases that come together to form a full story. Travel to sunny California, and delve deep into the drug-filled Los Angeles of the 1980s. Experience being an L.A. detective, and realize that you may need to stretch the laws a bit to suit your needs. Try some controversial methods to solve your case, all the while battling with the red tape of bureaucracy. Use all-new mechanisms of stakeout and observation to learn more about your suspects. The choices are yours, but are you willing to cross the line?

Unbeknownst to the citizens of Shady Grove, USA, a battle is brewing while they sleep. The most powerful heroes the world has ever known have converged to stop an onslaught of malicious super villains. The trouble is, these nefarious criminals are hiding in plain sight as residents of Shady Grove, so the heroes first have to find these treacherous evil-doers before it’s too late… In One Night Ultimate Super Villains, players take on the roles of heroes or villains, each with amazing superpowers that help further their cause.
War knows no end. Food is becoming scarce and our shelter is falling apart — yet we keep struggling. New faces can be seen around the city: the friendly ones at the makeshift market or in neighboring houses, the hostile ones in the night with blinding flashlights and clubs and knives. We seek new paths to travel through the ruins — sometimes even underground — just to avoid sniper fire and loot anything of value. It’s never much, yet we keep struggling.
