Hey PI-Fans,
We have a home. More or less. Once the contractors are done with it.
Anyway, what we CAN tell you is we’re not leaving the Orchard Road area, so that’s a plus.
In the meantime, you’re all here for games, not our unplanned location woes, so here’ what floated into port over the weekend. We’ll still be operating as a store normally until we have to haul everything off, so pop on by and check out the new stuff!
The roar of powerful engines bursts from the dark mouth of the Pyrenean tunnel just moments before gleaming cars streak past. One mistake could mean certain destruction, but the lure of the Spanish Grand Prix keeps the drivers focused and aggressive.
Heat: Tunnel Vision introduces two new racing tracks to the racing game Heat: Pedal to the Metal. The Spanish Grand Prix takes your car through treacherous tunnels, forcing you to trust your instincts in the semi-dark. The Netherlands track allows you to open your engine to full throttle before throwing you into a succession of treacherous corners.
This second expansion brings chicanes and tunnels for more technical and high-intensity races, front wing upgrade cards, and new event cards, in addition to expanding the player count to seven (or eight with the Heavy Rain expansion).

A long time ago at the Japanese Imperial court, the Chinese Emperor offered a giant panda bear as a symbol of peace to the Japanese Emperor. Since then, the Japanese Emperor has entrusted his court members (the players) with the difficult task of caring for the animal by tending to his bamboo garden.
In Takenoko, the players will cultivate land plots, irrigate them, and grow one of the three species of bamboo (Green, Yellow, and Pink) with the help of the Imperial gardener to maintain this bamboo garden. They will have to bear with the immoderate hunger of this sacred animal for the juicy and tender bamboo. The player who manages his land plots best, growing the most bamboo while feeding the delicate appetite of the panda, will win the game.
This special Big-Box edition of Takenoko includes both the Takenoko core game and the Takenoko Chibis expansion.

Your hand is always full in DroPolter, which makes it a challenge to drop only the correct items that the ghosts want to see.
To start the game, each player has a hand of five items: a red plastic cube, a blue wooden key, and so on. Each round, someone flips the top card of the deck, then players race to drop only the correct items from their hand. If you drop something you shouldn’t, you’re out for the round. If you’re the first player who drops everything correctly, congratulations! You’re rewarded with a tiny bell…that is placed in your hand and cannot be dropped in the future.
The first player who collects five bells wins.
