Confusing known as Take 5! in the English-speaking world, 6 nimmt! is a classic strategy card game that’s been delighting players since it’s inception in 1994.
Designed around a deck of numbered cards, players are attempting to place cards in ascending order based on their number – each card is placed in the row that ends with the highest number that’s below the card’s number. When the sixth card is placed in a row, the owner of that card claims the other five cards and the sixth card becomes the first card in a new row. After finishing ten rounds, players tally their score with the player with the fewest points winning!
Publisher Amigo Spiele has come out swinging with the Take 5! 30th Anniversary Edition, a special edition of the game which comes with the full original game as well as an extra stack of variant mini-expansions for the game. This includes the Beat the Buffalo cooperative variant that sees all players at the table attempting to engineer a situation where a dummy AI player collects the most points throughout the game.
