Hey PI-Fans,
Occasionally the manager gets knocked dead by a bug. Even without me though, the store continues to chug along, doing its own thing, regardless of my presence… this means that when I get back, I’ve got a lot of titles to shine a spotlight on.
While the restock of several titles in the EXIT card game range with their escape room one-shot puzzles are always, nice, the big-ticket items for the restock side of things are new printings of Dune Imperium, Dune Imperium Uprising and the Bloodlines expansion, taking the bloody conflict between the Houses back to the sands of Arrakis. Of course, these aren’t the only things to drop in, with a physical adaptation of the GWENT card game, Reiner Knizia’s tile-laying city builder Legacy game My City and the furniture collectathon TRND from Oink Games showing up on the shelves for those seeking a slightly less heavy but no less strategic experience. Couples seeking a cerebral challenger can consider The White Castle Duel, a two-player adaptation of the worker placement game White Castle. Finally, rounding out the experience are 5-Minute One Piece, a zany collaborative card game played with the cast of the Netflix adaptation of the series struggling to see off threats while on a timed 5-minute real time adventure, and Fast Friends by Exploding Kittens games, a high-pressure game where you attempt to anticipate what your teammate is thinking in order to avoid being trapped when the timer sounds.
