Hey PI-Fans,
Hope the week’s been treating you well. Between the previously announced Festive Bundles and our Rebate Promotion, it’s a great time to get in some gaming.
We’ll be here over the course of this week talk about these bundles, which we feel are an excellent start to a holiday gift-giving spree (or a self-gift, we don’t judge).
First up is THE CLASSICS!
Normally retailing at S$156.70, this amazing $100 package is an amazing way to start any board game collection with four different games showcasing multiple different playstyles!
Leading the way is Ticket to Ride: New York, a speedy 2 to 4 player reimplementation of the classic gameplay of Ticket to Ride that sees players racing to connect taxi routes across New York City to score points. In this fast-paced Ticket to Ride game, players race one another through the busy streets of New York City to visit the most prestigious Tourist Attractions and complete their Destination Tickets. The elegantly simple Ticket to Ride gameplay appeals to both beginners and seasoned players. Learn the game in 3 minutes, play it for hours!
Representing the cooperative genre is Pandemic: Hot Zone North America, a 1 to 4 player cooperative experience that sees players scrambling to work together against the game to discover cures for three deadly diseases that threaten the continent. Based on designer Matt Leacock’s classic Pandemic, Hot Zone North America is an elegant redesign that keep the gameplay smoothly flowing, making it an excellent entry title for those new to the cooperative board game genre!
Up next is Codenames, a puzzle themed word game of battling spy agencies. In Codenames, players need to give the rest of their teams clues to select cards from a grid of codenames, with both teams racing to recover all their agent cards before the opposing team does the same. To make matters more difficult however, an assassin card lurks somewhere within the grid, causing teams to have to be precise with their hints less their team uncover him and end the game prematurely!
Wrapping up this package is Mooncake Master, a simple drafting game of mooncake parts that sees players trying to put together confectionary orders to win over customer while working to ensure that their neighboring players don’t manage to beat them to the punch.
These four titles represent a diverse set of genres and they’re easy to teach and even easier to learn! We think they’ll do amazingly in any player’s personal collection, so if you’re out to give the gift of gaming, don’t pass up this golden opportunity to snag some awesome games!
