Hey PI-Fans,

There are two naturally occuring states in the gaming world. The first is ‘Enough Pokemon’. The second is ‘Not Enough Pokemon’.

We’ve seen a bit of a dry spell of late, but it’s Friday, which in addition to being a day to flee the office, also sees the release of the Pokemon: Sword & Shield set for the Pokemon TCG. The release of this set, with its infusion of all new Galar themed Pokemon, trainers and items is likely enough to shift the needle comfortably into ‘Enough Pokemon’.

Of course if you’re hankering for something a touch less cute and far more dangerous, then hop on the train back to Arkham for the Point of No Return. The fourth Mythos pack in the Dream Eater Cycle will see your investigators plumbing the underworld and battling your way past Gugs and Ghouls in a desperate bid to escape.

Alternative, there’s Oathbreaker, a Game of Thrones deception themed board game for five to eight players which sees the lords and ladies of Westeros gathered before the king. As secret agendas clash with the need for order, will the ruler determine who is loyal before they lose their head? It’s up to the king to figure out—before it’s too late.
