Pungeons and Dragons

Hey PI-Fans, Starting a week with a new game or two always sounds like a plan. Well... it's what we believe anyway. On the board game front, things are peachy. If you're going to scroll down to the new stuff, there's plenty to see, but don't forget about restocks of Unstable Unicorns, Hive, Fallout and Azul as well as classics like Catan, Saboteur,  Citadels and Pandemic. Of course, you're probably wondering about the new stuff anyway. So... have at thee! I don't think we're in Potions any more... This is magic class like you've never seen it before. Pick up your Bubble Wand and hope you can find the Great Haul, or at least a Friendly Big Kid to help you out. Or maybe grab the Fire Drill or the Manual of Transmission, because here come the Ash Kicker, Huff & Puff, and the dreaded Moldy Mort! Toss Munchkin Spell Skool [...]

Feeling Zen

Hey PI-Fans, Sometimes, you get that feeling that you need to chill, a realization that you've gotta take time to slow down and take in the scenery. Then gloat that your scenery is better than theirs. Which is the exact opposite of what you were attempting to achieve and I appear to have forgotten the point of this post. Relax, chill... something something... profit. Or something. I'm no longer sure. What were we talking about again. "Seikatsu", which means "life" in Japanese is a game where players take on the role of gardeners creating a garden together. To this end, they take turns at picking garden tiles and placing them in the garden, the object being to attract flocks of birds and set up rows of flowers. The Stars Are Wrong

Hey PI-Fans, It's a muggy Monday morning and we're all heading back to work. Still... it's going to be a short week thanks to the coming National Day Holiday. And that's as good an excuse as any to break out a game or two with some friends, no? Doesn't matter whether it's cracking open a board game, flipping some cards, rolling some dice or pushing some miniatures. It's all in good fun. Besides. Gameplay consists of a variable number of rounds in which players attempt to locate a plausible ID card and either acquire bribe money or ditch extra currency. Holding [...]
