Sometimes, you get that feeling that you need to chill, a realization that you’ve gotta take time to slow down and take in the scenery.

Then gloat that your scenery is better than theirs.

Which is the exact opposite of what you were attempting to achieve and I appear to have forgotten the point of this post.

Relax, chill… something something… profit. Or something.

I’m no longer sure. What were we talking about again.

“Seikatsu“, which means “life” in Japanese is a game where players take on the role of gardeners creating a garden together. To this end, they take turns at picking garden tiles and placing them in the garden, the object being to attract flocks of birds and set up rows of flowers. Players score for groups of birds as they place them, but they score for rows of flowers only at the end of the game and only for the rows of flowers that are visible from their pagoda at the game end.

In the twisted jungles of Paradiso, humanity fights for its survival. In the star-swept skies above, the collected might of humanity’s armadas maintain a life-or-death blockade to cut off an endless horde of alien reinforcements. You are a Senshi, a warrior-monk studying diligently at the temple under the tutelage of the current master. You and your fellow students train vigorously every day to improve your mind and body, but your master is ailing, and only one senshi will become the next master. Carefully manipulate stacks of tiles that represent your four attributes: strength, agility, wisdom, and honor.  Whoever has the tallest scoring pile of any of the four attributes at the end of the game wins; however, first the player with the shortest scoring pile is eliminated. Watch your opponent’s moves closely and exploit their weaknesses to achieve the great honor of becoming the temple’s next master!
