Hey PI-Fans,
While the world continues to spin, those of the more humorous bent would joke that for the most part, the average board game at least doesn’t require power consumption.
Some sense of normalcy continues as we load up the shelves with board games for the masses with this eclectic mix making their way to the shelves. Blue Orange Games take the headliner position this time around, with the trio of City Tour, Fifty Fruity and Cakozaurus. City Tour is a cooperative route planning game where players guide a tour bus through meandering city streets dropping off passengers, Fifty Fruity is a pocket sized deception card game where opponents mix half-truth in a bid to deceive their opponents into collecting cards they don’t want and Cakozaurus, a kid’s dexterity game of luck and light strategy where they attempt to fulfil customer orders without knocking over an unstable cake consuming dinosaur.
Also hitting the shelves at the same time is the food flinging dexterity party game Hibachi Fired Up!, head-to-head card flipping strategy game Tea for 2 and the ‘absolutely not a drinking game’ hydration game When Sip Hits The Fan.
As always, the shelves are loaded with games designed to keep you happy and we’d be absolutely pleased to find you a new addition to your collection when you need one, so pop on over or swing by our webstore! We’re always happy to have you!

Cakozaurus is a cooperative game in which players must complete customers’ cake orders. But beware the beady gaze of Cakozaurus, a monster who wants only one thing: to gobble up all your cakes as soon as your back is turned!
On a turn, you draw ingredient cubes from a bag, then drop them in a funnel. You then fulfill an outstanding order in part of the kitchen that has the right cubes in it or move a cube to a different region or pick up from one region and drop them again. The monster will move from region to region, scooping up ingredients in its mouth even as players rush to match customer orders without knocking the CakoZaurus token over.

City Tour is a cooperative route-building game for 1–4 players set in the ever-changing streets of Paper City. Working as a team of bus drivers, players must transport colorful passengers to their matching tourist attractions over a series of 12 increasingly challenging “days,” divided into four levels.
On each turn, a player draws two Route tiles, places one in front of the bus, and moves the bus forward. As the bus travels, it picks up passengers and drops them off automatically when passing their matching attractions. To succeed, enough passengers must be delivered to meet each attraction’s requirement before the bus exits the city. Later levels introduce new obstacles and special rules—such as ticket inspections, restricted routes, and specific drop-off conditions—that add complexity to the puzzle.

To win Fifty Fruity, you want to have the most bananas in your collection, and to get them you might have to lie.
On a turn, the active player draws two cards from the deck, then shows them to another player, who either truthfully says what’s on both cards (but not which is which) or lies about one card while saying the truth about the other. The active player then keeps one of the cards and gives the other to the player who spoke.
Some cards have only bananas on them, while others have green bananas, mangoes that ripen the green bananas, coconuts with special powers, bombs that blow up coconuts, a banana split, and more.

This party game involves a little bit of luck, a little bit of skill, and a lot of laughs with your friends. Spice up any party by grabbing your favorite beverage and giving the spinner a go. Whatever it lands on dictates how much you have to drink and/or what mortifying and hilarious task you have to complete. You can stop the spinner at any time…but so can any other player! You gotta think fast, move faster, and be ready to drink up while you crack up. It’s the perfect icebreaker and easy to play even if you’ve had a few. Which you’ll hopefully only have a few, before someone collects three cards and wins!
