The vagaries of modern shipping can make ordering product a roulette wheel of excitement compounded with moments of pure, unadulterated panic.
It has been one of those periods recently where we’ve watched titles slowly pile up in port and then suddenly arrive together, causing headaches as we attempt to figure out how to fit all of it in our store. Despite this headache arriving alongside the MtG: Spider-Man prerelease, it’s a good problem to have.
If you’ve been watching Catan stocks every dwindle into unobtanium, you’ve probably been clued into the fact that something’s been brewing. We’re happy to announce that Catan Sixth Edition is back on the shelves bringing with it all the settling, resource hoarding and passive-aggressive robber placement you’ve come to expect of this classic game. It even came with an amazing trailer attached that has no right to be as epic as it went.
Hot on the heels of the Catan launch is the winner of this year’s Spiel des Jahres 2025: Bomb Busters, a fast deduction focused little collaborative game of incomplete information and strong hunches that has players take on the role of a bomb disposal crew working to dismantle an explosive device without cutting the wrong set of wires and blowing themselves sky high.
On the lighter end of things is Flip 7, a pocket sized push-your-luck game where players attempt to bank points without going over their limits in a constant struggle between greed and safety, as well as another wave of Unlock! Short Adventure packs with The Song of the Sea Spray, Schrodinger’s Cat, The Birmingham Murder and Inside the Mind of Sherlock Holmes.

Welcome to the unexplored island of Catan! As you and your fellow explorers gaze across the uninhabited landscape of hexagonal tracts of terrain, you quickly realize that this unique land arrangement provides ample space for each of you to put down roots.
You race off to establish your respective communities by gathering resources from nearby terrain, building your infrastructure, and nurturing trade relationships. On each turn dice are rolled to determine which resources the island produces. Players build structures by ‘spending’ resources (sheep, wheat, wood, brick and ore) which are represented by the relevant resource cards; each land type, with the exception of the unproductive desert, produces a specific resource: hills produce brick, forests produce wood, mountains produce ore, fields produce wheat, and pastures produce sheep.
Watch out for surprises! Your rivals can block your path or send the robber to plunder your wealth!
CATAN: 3-4 Players, 60 mins, Ages 10+
There is a bomb full of wires and the countdown has started… Who are you gonna call? YOU!
In Bomb Busters, there is a set of 48 normal wire cards numbered 1-12 (4 of each value) with some yellow and red wire cards. These are dealt out. Each mission is different, but your goal is always the same: go through all 12 numbers without blowing up!
Players place the tiles on their stands and then take turns pointing at each others’ wires and guessing their values. Using the wires on the tile holder in front of you, try and figure out your teammates’ wires. Find and cut identical wires, but watch out, if you cut a red wire: BOOM! Use your equipment wisely to meet the varied challenges which get harder and harder. Tick tock tick tock… Will you figure it out before it’s too late?
BOMB BUSTERS: 2-5 Players, 30 mins, Ages 10+
Flip over cards one by one without flipping the same number twice. Sound easy? Think again! This isn’t just any deck of cards…
Flip 7 is a fast-paced press-your-luck card game designed for groups of all sizes. Players take turns flipping numbered cards, aiming to build the highest-scoring line without busting.
In Flip 7 there’s only one 1 card, two 2’s, three 3’s, etc plus a bunch of special cards that can score you extra points, give you a second chance, or freeze you or your opponents in your tracks. Are you the type of player to play it safe and bank points before you bust, or are you going to risk it all and go for the bonus points by flipping over seven in a row?
