Portal Game’s Brazil Imperial presents an euro-style take on the traditional 4X game (eXpand, eXplore, eXploit, eXterminate).
Brazil Imperial is played on a modular map board that recreate real regions in Brazil during the 16th century,, utilising a combination of worker placement mechanics, engine building and area control to dominate the differing eras. Designed as a midweight empire-builder, players take control of a colonial power seeking to make your mark on the country by expanding their imperial control over the passage of three eras. Players are tasked with contructing cities, farms and mines to produce wood, sugar cane, coffee, raise armies and march out to explore (and occupy) the country.
