Miskatonic School for Girls DBG

Miskatonic School for Girls is the first deck-building game in which you get to build your opponent’s deck. This unique feature creates a totally different play dynamic from other deck building games.

MSFG has players assuming the roles of rival houses at Miskatonic. Each house has a healthy level of sanity (20) at the beginning of the game. As the game goes on, that precious sanity will slowly be torn away by the faculty of the school. In order to combat the bad teaching methods of the Great Old Ones, the students of the house need to band together!

During your turn, you’ll buy your new friends with friendship points and use nightmare points to send faculty after the rival houses. Eventually, those Faculty will end up in a player’s hand, where they will hold class, teaching your innocent students about the horrors around them. This has a detrimental effect on your house’s sanity.

Due to the overwhelming power of the dark truth, it’s just a matter of time before your house goes completely bonkers. The last house left with any sanity wins!

Lupin the Third: The Board Game

Lupin The Third brings the characters of the decades-old manga series Lupin III, created by Kazuhiko Kato, to the game board, with players taking the role of one of five characters from the series, each represented by a colorful miniature:

  • The unpredictable gentleman thief Lupin
  • His inseparable friend with the unerring aim, Jigen
  • The taciturn master swordsman Goemon Ishikawa XIII
  • The charming and mischievous Fujiko Mine, Lupin’s love interest
  • The stubborn and indefatigable Inspector Zenigata

Lupin The Third has elements of a reverse Scotland Yard in that one of the players will control Inspector Zenigata and be visible on the game board along with his team of police agents, while the other players will work together to try to steal the treasure and escape; these players are visible only when within view of Zenigata and the police, but both sides can use tricks to misdirect the other. What’s more, as in the comic, Fujiko Mine can betray the group to try to escape with the treasure on her own!

Legend of the Five Rings RPG: The Book of Air

Air is the most mercurial of elements, from the cool breeze that comforts a dying soldier to the cutting wind that slices away at the rock, carving canyons and spires from the mighty mountains. The essence of Air is within all things, giving life to the honeyed words of the courtier, lending speed to the brilliant steel of the duelist, carrying the arrow of the archer, and delivering the hurricane force of a devout priest. Some believe that Air is the least powerful of the elements. Those who believe so are fools.

The Book of Air is the first in a new series of sourcebooks for the Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying Game, the Elemental Series, each of which focuses on one of the five iconic rings that give the game its name. The Book of Air explores the many different aspects of Air in the setting, including the many activities and endeavors samurai attempt that are tied to the Air ring.

Draw your blade and join the fight for Rokugan!

Hungry Hungry Hippos

Come on down to the riverbank and join Sweetie Potamus, Veggie Potamus, Picky Potamus, and Bottomless Potamus for a gobblin’ good time! Get ready for the fun and frantic game that leaves everyone hungry for more!

This children’s game is as much of a toy as it is a game. Each player has a plastic hippo that is arranged around a plastic arena. When you push the tail it will reach its head onto the playing field – perhaps trapping one or more marbles to be pulled back to a private player marble gutter, perhaps just sending marbles bouncing around the playing field.

Some marbles are released onto the playing area; players attempt to get their hippos to eat as many marbles as possible.

This new edition comes with a special animated DVD titled “A Tangled Tale!”

Lord of the Rings LCG: The Watcher in the Water

Elrond, the Elf Lord of Rivendell, is troubled by the great numbers of Orcs that plagued the heroes who escorted his daughter, Arwen Undómiel, across the Misty Mountains. He asks them to explore the mines of Moria, hoping they can determine if they are the source of the increased Orc activity, but before the heroes can explore Moria’s vast network of tunnels, they must first gain entrance…

The Watcher in the Water is the third Adventure Pack in the Dwarrowdelf cycle for The Lord of the Rings LCG. Once they pass the Doors of Durin, the heroes of Middle-earth must explore the mines of Moria to find the cause of the increased Orc activity in the Misty Mountains. Yet they must first survive the perils of the fetid Swamps and the ferocious combat with the Watcher’s many Tentacles.

A copy of The Lord of the Rings LCG Core Set and the Khazad-dûm Expansion are required to play the scenario included in this Adventure Pack.

Chaos Marauders

‘Ere we go, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we gooo!!!

In Chaos Marauders, each player takes control of one of the Orc clans involved, ready to show all the other mangy little creeps who’s boss of dis ‘ere scabby battle mob. You’ll stop at nothing to win. No amount of trickery will be low enough, no amount of thuggish brutality too vile. Who knows, you may even get the mysterious Chaos Marauders on your side. Only one tribe can come out on top. Will it be yours?

Nuns on the Run

Fréderic Moyersoen presents a new take on the us-versus-them genre with Nuns on the Run. Most of the players are novices who are eager to secretly explore the grand abbey at night in order to fulfill their “secret wish.” They sneak through corridors searching for keys and treasures. (What treasures could a novice be searching for? Forbidden cookies? A soft mattress? Or narcotics? Or a book of witchcraft?)

While sneaking through the abbey, they must remain watchful for the abbess or prioress who are on patrol to ensure that pure novices remain that way. These characters are controlled by other players who want to nab the novices before they can make it back into bed.

Frag: Gold Edition

Computer games are mindless and violent. This is even better.

Nothing subtle here. Grab your friends, grab your dice, make up a warrior, and go. Start with a pistol and work up to a Heavy Assault Cannon with Chainsaw. Or maybe just a Nuke.

Frag is a computer game without a computer. It’s a “first-person shooter” on a tabletop. Move your fighter and frag your foes; draw cards for weapons, armor, and gadgets; move through the blood spatters to restore your own health! When you die – and you will – you respawn on your next turn, and you’re back in the fight!

Frag is fast and violent, perfect for a lunch-hour slugfest or for long nights of mayhem.

Arkham Horror

The year is 1926. The Place is Arkham, Massachusetts. Gateways to places horrible beyond imagination are opening up all over town, releasing hideous creatures into the streets to stalk the night. Worse yet, if enough of these gates open up, then a creature of unfathomable power will be unleashed on the world.

Pitted against these overwhelming odds is a small band of investigators determined to beat back the uncaring forces of the universe. They’ll have to delve deep into the mysteries  of the Mythos and use all of their skills, weapons, and spells if they want to have even a slim chance of success.

Tolkien’s hobbits and mages from every school imaginable adventure and battle in two highly anticipated games this July!

Lord of the Rings LCG: The Hobbit – Over Hill and Under Hill

The Lord of the Rings LCG: The Hobbit – Over Hill and Under Hill is the first Saga Expansion for The Lord of the Rings LCG and gives players the chance to participate directly in the thrilling narrative laid out by J.R.R. Tolkien in his beloved classic. Its characters, enemies, and scenarios are drawn directly from the first half of the novel. The three new scenarios in The Hobbit: Over Hill and Under Hill can be played one at a time, or they can be linked to form a campaign that allows players to relive Bilbo’s dramatic story arc!

Bilbo Baggins is included as a hero and adds a new sphere of influence to the game: the Baggins sphere. Baggins sphere tokens can be used not only to pay for Baggins sphere and neutral cards, but they can be used to get yourself out of sticky situations via a number of game effects that change with each scenario. While Baggins can gain resources and take actions like other heroes, he is so central to the story that if he leaves play, the players automatically lose.

The Hobbit: Over Hill and Under Hill introduces a new type of card – treasure – and players acquire these treasure cards, which represent Middle-earth’s most valuable items, only by completing scenarios, with treasure then carrying over into subsequent scenarios. Don’t find all the treasure that you suspect is present in a scenario? Explore it again, and hope that you find the riches before you perish…

Mage Wars

What would it be like for Mages of vastly different schools and philosophies of magic to come together in an arena and fight to the death? How would an Illusionist battle a Druid? Or a Warlock fight a Beastmaster? Or a Priestess fare against a Wizard?

Mage Wars pits powerful Mages against each other in deadly arena combat. Each Mage uses his own fully-customizable book of spells to achieve total victory over his opponent. Summon mighty creatures to do battle in your name; cast powerful spells to attack your foe and thwart his every plan and strategy; use hidden enchantments to turn the tables and rule the day; adorn yourself with mighty weapons, armor, and arcane artifacts – all of this and more awaits you in the arena of Mage Wars!

Mage Wars is a tactical board game, a combination of a card game and miniatures game, combining the best elements from each genre. The game is played on an arena game board divided into square areas called “zones”, which regulate movement and the placement of objects. Each Mage (player) starts in a corner of the arena, opposite his enemy.

Every Mage comes from a different school of magic, each with unique spells and strategies!

The base game comes with all you need to get started: spellbooks, extra spells to customize the spellbooks, arena game board, dice, markers, etc.

New Mages will be released every few months to add new spells, powers, and variety to the game. The game is NOT collectible, but is fully customizable!
