Hey PI-Fans,

With arrival of new stock of Hail Hydra and Resistance Avalon and the launch of Crossfire and Ravnica: Inquisition, by some odd quirk of fate, this week looks to be a week of deception themed games.

But if that isn’t your thing, consider picking up a copy of Ultra Tiny Epic Kingdoms and Ultra Tiny Epic Galaxies, the teeniest tiniest, most portal 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate) games you’ll find.

This comes on top of the usual rolling restock including the Tiny Epic game line, King of Tokyo, Mysterium, Chronicles of Crime and the (oddly popular) Pandemic.

Ultra Tiny Epic Galaxies is an epic game of dice rolling and Space Exploration, a completely unabridged version of Tiny Epic Galaxies in a box the size of a deck of cards. It plays the full spectrum of 1 to 5 players, has all 40 original planets, and even includes the Satellites & Super Weapons Mini-Expansion!

Tiny Epic Kingdoms is a 4x fantasy game in a pocket-size package, each player starts with a unique faction (which has a unique technology tree) and a small territory. Throughout the game, players collect resources, explore other territories, battle each other, research magic, and work to build a great tower to protect their realm.

In Crossfire, two teams of players compete to protect or assassinate a VIP – Agents have been tasked with defending the VIP, while Assassins try to ensure that the VIP doesn’t make it to their destination. To complicate things further, Bystanders are also present near the VIP, making it even harder to know who the real threats are. After 3 minutes, each player must make a call and aim their weapon. After all the shots are fired, if the VIP is still standing, the Agents win. If the VIP has been eliminated, the Assassins claim victory. Be careful, though. Any player who shot a Bystander by accident automatically loses the game.

Join the Gatewatch or pledge your loyalty to Nicol Bolas in Ravnica: Inquisition, a social-deduction game set on the Magic: The Gathering plane of Ravnica. Gatewatch loyalists are tasked with discovering who the Agents of Bolas are, while Agents simply need to survive in order to further the schemes of Nicol Bolas. Players will elect leaders for each of the five colors, but only players whose guilds’ color pairs contains the color may be voted for. Each color leader has a special power they can use to further their goals, and players must be careful when voting, as Nicol Bolas’s influence may grow.
